Ingredients

  • ¾ cup mixed dal (toor, moong, chana, urad, masoor)
  • 1 tomato, garlic
  • Cumin, hing, turmeric
  • Red chilli, coriander
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Lemon

Method

  1. 1

    Pressure-cook the five dals with turmeric and salt.

    Temper cumin, hing, garlic, red chilli in oil.

    Add tomato; cook down and pour over dal.

    Simmer 5 min; finish with lemon.
