Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups basmati rice
  • 2 cups veg (beans, peas, capsicum)
  • Whole spices (bay, clove, cardamom)
  • Cumin, asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Mint, coriander

Method

    Temper whole spices, cumin and hing in oil.

    Add veg; sauté 2 min.

    Add soaked rice, salt and 3 cups water.

    Cook till done; rest 5 min and fluff.
